Exercise.
So I haven't blogged about my diet n' stuff for a while because I had problems with my first trainer.
I thought he was a nice guy and all BUT I think he ended up pushing me too hard... I say this because I almost blacked out last week under his 'care'. Because of the over exercise, I talked to his supervisor to get another trainer and to make sure that I got my exercise evaluation.
You see I had paid $60 for 3 meetings with the first trainer to get an evaluation so I could then exercise by myself. I was more peeved with the first trainer because after stopping my 3rd session short, because of the overexertion, he mentioned that I would have to pay for a 4th session to get my results. I told the supervisor that while I didn't totally blame the first trianer, I felt there wasn't enough of a back and forth between us and I wasn't going to pay more for the evaluation. She totally understood and assigned me to someone else. The supervisor even went so far as to give the new person's credentials.
So after a week of not going to the gym, and not losing any more weight, I started with the new trainer last night. SHE was really good. Yeah I now have a female trainer. I remember a Maxim that said guys are better motivated by female trainers. While I sorta agree with their theory, I wasn't going to push myself to show off. I know I'm outa shape and that she's arround younger guys in better shape... So I just tried to focus on doing a good job. She gave me a good amount of feedback, including more info about the machines that we were using... and when I mentioned that I didn't like a machine, instead of pushing me on it as the first trainer did, she found me another machine that I felt more comfortable with.
I felt like a putz when, as I was leaving, I told her I felt comfortable with her... but I did.
Oh , for the guys out there... the celeb I feel she looks like is Kristen Johnston. She's not as smoking, but still reminded me of Johnston.
Finally; I have lost 12 lbs. since starting my diet, but have been flatline[ not gaining/not losing] for the past two weeks- so want to start exercising to burn more calories and lose some more weight before year's end. Goal is about 17 more lbs.... though as I haven't lost weight for two weeks not sure if I'll reach that goal by Dec. 31st, but as I'm planning to go to the gym today to run... I'd like for another 9 lbs. in then next month and 1/2, esp. as that would a little more then 1 lb. a week.
