Five by Five, a list thingee from Shrewness( with approved modifications)
5 Things in my Fridge: expired beer (really should drink or pour out and recycle bottles); peanuts (somehow they taste better chilled), Brita water pitcher, Hot Sauce, and some old Blood Mary Mix( not an alch- as shown that the beer got skunky and the Bloody Mary Mix prolly also needs to go when I clean my fridge before my trip) Peanut Butter.
5 things in my closet: Comics, Toys, Boxes- as I’m a pack rat and don’t know when I’ll need boxes- as if…, Duffle bag- I’m going on my first trip in like forever but I have duffle bag in my closet from like college- as said pack rat, Dress shirts….
5 things I can’t leave my house without: A book- Always have a book with me at all times; A water bottle( due to ‘diet’); my keys; my wallet; and in my wallet- My Rights. I have in my wallet a list of my rights as an American Citizen- such as my right to NOT answer questions and remain Silent, my right to an Attorney( have seen too many cop shows where a suspect is stupid enough to say something), and my right to be free from searches and seizures.
5 Places I’d visit if I had a car: Slight change- Shrewness suggested Cities… but I realized that if I had a car, day trips would become possible and there are a couple of NON cities that I’d go to. First Locale- Cape Cod, I’d more then likely make sure to visit the cape if I had wheels. I’ve only been there once in the past few years, that was with family and would’ve been nicer sans family. Water Park- I forget the nearest Water Park, but I’d go to one in a heart beat this summer if I had a car, esp. as I’m not gonna be as self conscious of my weight as I was last year. Next, Six Flags, I’m going to go there for a friend’s wedding in August and IF I had a car I’d a) do a little recon of the park and b) offer a ride to friends. Providence, RI- Strip Clubs; Nuff Said. And IF my father was a better man- I’d try to visit his pool in the summer, when he was like away( I say better man as I remember once my bro asked to use dad’s apartment when Dad wasn’t in NYC and wasn’t allowed to).
Actually this was the hardest- as it made me think in a way that I don’t normally. Being T-bound, I don’t usually thing “IF…” as I just live with what I got. Like it most likely would be a lot easier to go to Revere for my fried clam cravings- better then the cape but still takes an hour or so each way and they don’t have bathrooms.
5 things in my head: Well the first is of course, did I count correctly on the other 4 ;-) Second, dang- looking at Shrewness’ shoe wants makes me glad I’m not into shoes ;-) Have I thought of everything I need for my vaca/ what have I forgotten for it??? Dang, have to cut down on life until my vaca as they are cutting my f’ing hours at work! Drive like lightning( Crash like thunder)- Love that Brian Setzer Orchestra( i.e. listening to BSO’s Vavoom and digging it)
