I just went to Amazon.com... I just wanted to have a look around and I checked out what they wanted to 'recommend' to me. Now I usually don't follow their recommendations because they often get it wrong. For instance, I bought a friend baby Mozart a few years ago and after that Amazon kept suggesting more of the Baby series to me. However sometimes by looking at the list, I find a dvd that I didn't know had been released...
So I looked at the list, and besides adding Star Trek books because I've put the Original Series on my list... was UNFIT for Command. This made me laugh as while I usually have bought my left leaning books at a store with cash( no paper trail for the Patriot Act) I have owned up to owning Lying Liars to Amazon.
Then I looked at the 'why I was recommended' this book. Apparently it's because I bought Lord Love a Duck- a dark comedy starring Roddy McDowall and Tuesday Weld- IT was written by the same guy who wrote the 7 Year Itch and the Manchurian Candidate( the first movie)
Captain Scarlet lovers also seem to love Unfit for Command. I guess Wooden British Actors are against Kerry.
But then I went down further and wooden people lovers REALLY seem to dislike Kerry- as the Rankin and Bass classic Mad Monster Party is also linked from ME to this anti Kerry propaganda.
And following in the steps of Captain Scarlet- the Man Called Flintstone also smacks of Kerry bashing. I guess that's because if you're a member of Secret intelligence( even if it's 5,000 BC, you're a futuristic British puppet or brain washed) you KNOW Kerry is a No Goodnik.
I mean I just thought this was SOOO funny. I've put on my Wish List- Fahrenheit 9/11 to help Amazon figure me out. I also told the site I liked Outfoxed... just to help Amazon figure me out. Of course this prolly means that come 2009- after Jeb Bush is 'elected' president- I'll be up against the wall.
But at least I won't own a copy of Unfit for Command. Not even on a boat, not here or there... I do not like Swiftboatsveternswhoarebigfatliars
