Couldn't last two days

I’m not proud of my actions today… but I feel I need to say here…

I quit my new job. I first emailed them that I wasn’t feeling well and that I wasn’t coming in today…
Then I realized that I was just putting things off and that I’d go to bed stressed tonight… Not that I won’t be stressed tonight…
But I’d like to think I made the right choice.

However, I don’t trust my judgment.
For instance, as I said in my last post, I called my older brother about how to break the news to our parents if/when I quit.
He’s now mad at me because after telling me his advice, which was not to care what our parents think and to keep the job… I told him, as I often tell my dad, that I don’t want to talk anymore I want to be left alone.
And like our dad, he decided that I wasn’t thankful enough. He even called me( after I unplugged the phone so I wouldn’t have to talk to him), and told me he understood our dad getting pissed at me because I yell at my dad and then hang up.
I should mention that in the three conversations I had with my brother last night- I did say goodbye all three times. It’s not like I cut him off and just hung up while he was in the middle of a conversation.
So I sent my brother a letter- telling him that I was sorry that I didn’t thank him properly, but at the same time I was calling because I needed help and it was about me that I was calling and not about him.
I felt like saying- but didn’t- that when his daughter needs help, she is NOT going to give him validation and thanks… that it will be part of his job description to help her unconditionally. But I didn’t say that because I didn’t want to bring her into it.
Though I did find it interesting that he basically said in the conversation that he doesn’t want to get married and he’s doing it all because his gal pal gave him a child and SHE wants to be married.
