Drugs= AIDS ???!!????
I've said it before and I'll say it again... I'm vexed by the thinking of the right. I've seen several ads on TV and on mass transit equating drugs with STDs.
The ad goes something like- I have HIV, I took drugs to forget I was HIV- and now I might've given HIV to others.
OF COURSE this ad mentions Ecstasy, as I guess they realized if they tried for the slam dunk of attacking medical marijuana the ad might not have flied BUT that leads to the other ad...
Where two teens are partying and 'opps' since they were taking drugs they forgot to wear protection and so she might have STDs.
Now the thing that gets my back raised about these ads- is the same people who want these ads to run are the same people who don't want Sex Ed. in school. Maybe if it was hammered into kids as second nature to use a condom, THAT would help more. Maybe instead of SCARING US about drugs, they should scare teens about STDs.
Or how about tougher sentencing on Drunk Driving? I bet more people( like W.) have been arrested for drunk driving then for driving under the influence of marijuana. I mention this as on my X-Men DVD there's an ad about a guy who got high and then got into a car accident.
I just hate their hypocritical manner and the "we're looking out for you" attitude. These are the type of people who voted for prohibition then went to Cuba to party. They over look the practical answers because it doesn't agree with THEIR beliefs.
Heck, this site mentions ( as I had read in the Big Book of Conspiracies)that the whole EVIL of hemp was created by William Randolph Hearst because he wanted to sell more wood pulp.
These people don't want people to have decent sex education, because it's against THEIR religion and they don't want OTHER PEOPLE to do drugs. Apparently it's ok for W. and Rush to do drugs but not a woman who has two jobs, 3 kids and just NEEDS to relax once in a while-
Or maybe it's because W. and Rush constantly say they're sorry and will NEVER do it again- til they're caught whereas us common folk offer no such promise.
