Quick Update...

Hey;

Got the hard drive... Now I just need to get someone to put it in. Alienware has implied that they'll have someone call me; but I have to wait about 72 hours AFTER I asked for tech person for them to CALL ME BACK, so god only knows when they will actually replace my hard drive.
The person on the phone asked for another phone number- but because I'm not sure if they'll call Tuesday or Wednesday( as that 72 hours is 'business day hours), I'd be at one job on one day and another job the next.
Bleh.

Work has been tough because they keep TRYING to schedule me for a 5 day work week at one job which would mean a 7 day work week for me... And me working full time for them with NO benifits. The manager wasn't there when I saw NEXT week's schedule... and went thru the roof- but I think all the ass't managers now know how I feel about stuff. Also was unhappy with him because I was 'on call' today and didn't know until I called him today at 10:30 am( after the gym) if I was working. I'm not working but didn't have time to plan anything and too tired to do much.

And hcrealms is a major pain. there's no SIMPLE way to log off of it... so each time I log on( as I have a trade that's taken over 3 weeks and he still hasn't sent yet)... I have to spend 5 or so min. trying to log OFF. This time I didn't as I haven't got the patience... and haven't gotten to the screen which allows me to disable it's cookies... so I just hope nobody uses the same computer as me to check out hcrealms.

I'm also getting tired real quick about one of my ass't managers at the new store. Basically she likes telling me 5 times how to do my job, when I got it the first time. This happened twice yesterday. The first time- as said we have a Star Wars Exibit... and we got Wednesday a working Anikin F/X lightsaber to go with the Darth Vader F/X lightsaber we have. Both were out on Friday- though I did not put both out. She complained to me that IF both are out- people will fight with them and ONE will get broken. As she told me this I took the Anikin off the floor and put it behind the counter. I felt the newer one should remain 'newer'. When she told me this the second time, I pointed out that I heard her the first time and had removed the second lightsaber. She pointed out that she tends to repeat herself.
The second time she did it however got my goat more. She had me put out some books and told me 'not to put face out books in front of OTHER face out books.' She had told me this on a previous day... So I let her know I got a Masters in Library Science. I *understand* the idea of not hiding books behind other books.
She acted wounded... she pointed out she didn't know this... I continued and made sure she knew that my dad was all about the books, so I can shelve them just fine.
I tried to then ask her about her life- as I know she's getting a doctorate... so I didn't seem such a monster...
But really. Tell me something once, and odds are I'll get it. I try to be pretty compentent like that.
