Kerry better win!
Ok... there's LOTS of noise out of my 4th story window. Lots of honking and yelling and carrying on.
Yes the SOX have finally won the world series. After 86 years of failure... finally a win. Heck the last time they had even gotten into the Series was in the 1980's, almost 20 years.
Boston also has the Patriots- who currently haven't lost a game this season and have the record for MoSt consectutive wins
Boston was also subjected to 'random searches' for the DNC convention...
I say the fact that the Pats and Sox have won this year and Boston was "lucky" enough to host the DNC convention, that the stars are RIGHT for Boston's 'favorite' son- John F. Kerry.
He better win. I'm a grumpy Yankee fan in Red Sox Nation. I don't expect the natives to settle down for an hour or two.
But it'll be worth it- if this HELPS people realize that Kerry's a winner- just like the Sox and vote for him!
