Guilty pleasure
Ok I want to admit to watching one of those shows that I TOTALLY should not be watching because it's a girl power teen thing.... I'm willing to admit this because I did last year quisi admit to watching this show in front of my family. Basically my brother had brought his ex girlfreind's kid( no gentics shared) with him to a family get together. She is only allowed limited TV time because her mom is like this total vegan valley girl thing... but apon here that she watched the show I liked... I sung with her the Naked Mole Rat Rap.
I, of course, speak of Kim Possible. It has such voice talent as John (Bender) Di Maggio as her arch enemy- Dr. Draken, Niocle( Mad TV) Sullivan as Draken's henchperson Shego, Nancy (bart) Cartwright as the afore mentioned naked mole rat, Gary (Movie Mike Brady) Cole as her dad, Patrick (too many to list) Warburton as a re occuring coach, Ricardo Montalban as my favorite guest villain Señor Senior Sr., Tom (Prof. Utonium) Kane as another 'guest foe' Lord Monkey Fist,Debbie Reynolds as Kim Possible's Grandma, Elliot Gould and Andrea Martin as Ron Stoppable's folks.
I love the villains on the show... dr draken and shego are GREAT- and I loved the few episodes with Señor Senior Sr. and his son Señor Senior Jr. I like Rufus and Ron... and I even like Kim in ways that I didn't like Buffy... Although I gotta admit I like Ron Stoppable- her side kick more then her... Because he's the comedy effects... She's pretty perfect but he's pretty much a mess.
I think though that the show is either over or JUMPED THE SHARK... Last night they had a 'movie' where Ron and Kim go to the dance. I like them as a team but I don't like them as a couple. There's not alot of 'sexual tension' on the show because it's a cartoon. Both had gone out with other people before... Granted Ron got peeved once or twice but that was usually because any guy outshined him( real goof ball). I just really dislike it when shows go OUT of their ways to hook characters up. I think that's a mark of death... I think characters/people can be freinds with people of the opposite gender without 'sexual tension' hanging over everything.
I think it was a good show, but either a) they're gonna end it this year when they run out of new episodes or b) it's gonna jump the shark when Ron and Kim start getting smoochy inbetween missions.
Oh and here's chorus of the Naked Mole Rat Song... which I think is QUITE catchy ;-)

you touched on all the greats, drew!! I love kp!! the villains are the best, but drakken and shego are hysterical hahahahahahahahahahaha
I like senor senior and junior jr., too-everytime I hear his voice (the actor's name escapes me at the moment, but he played the photographer on suddenly susan;-p -so you won't get this unless you had ever seen a clip from that show) I can hear him saying, "todd", but as "towad" (obviously an extremely private inside joke that you should feel lucky not to be a party to hehehehehehehehehe)
but dude! I was so stoked! I had to wait til I finished watching it to comment cuz I didn't have time over the weekend, but I have seen it all now-excellent!!
actually thought the villainy wasn't all that in this ep, they didn't even really have any good lines, but the whole point was waiting for ron & kim-seriously, they have been building this up for the past year especially-little moments here and there? I was only surprised they went there so fast, coming from a televsion universe of extreme unresolved romantic tension
so not fonzie-h20-skiiing;-o cha! I think they are adorable together-totally cute & sweet, very innocent, all best-friendy - I don't actually see any downside at all-they aren't the type to stall the show, I think it will just add another cool element, which makes the toon much more fun than most cuz it winks back;-D
I was reading your real life post-you are an rpg geek? how come you don't play on jla? and hwat happened to your other venting postie? I was gonna ask you some quests about that hehehehehehehehe
but drewish, bigtime here, inquiring minds want to know: what up with nextel? you never concluded? do tell;-D
