Sleep.

man there's something really wrong with my sleep cycle lately.

Granted I've never been the best sleeper. I'm convinced I wouldn't have lasted very long in ealier( before decent matresses) times. I sleep on my stomac... so I need a good matress- in fact I've wondered a bit recently if losing some of my stomac might help me sleep.

I also can't sleep OUTSIDE all that well. See sunlight wakes me up. In my own apartment I sleep with a blanket 365... it gets a little WARM in the summer but I need to pull the blanket over my head to stop the light.

Did I mention noises also awaken me. Whenever I go home my mom usually wakes me up by puttering arround the kitchen.

But then me and my parents constantly disagree about the amount of time I spend in bed. I love my bed... it's nice and warm... and freindly. Til recently I've liked 8 to 9 hours. My dad gets away with a good deal less- and feels I should as well.

Last year I go to bed arround 11:30-Midnight... after the daily show and maybe a little more. I'd toss and turn a bit... from 15 min. to 1/2 hour and be up arround 9am- again give or take.

The couple of weeks I've been going to bed arround the same time. tossing for a lot longer... and then been up at about 7 am. This morning I felt more tired when I got out of my sweet sweet bed then when I got into it.

I'm going to bed a bit early tonight( right after I post this and brush my teeth)... I've had very little energy today. I walked a bit today not alot but a bit... if I don't get a good night tonight I'll do a good amount of exercise.

I've also been waking up with the mother of all dry mouths in the morning. If I had the money and think it'd be worth it- I'd try to see if a mister dohickey would help.( and waking up in the middle of the night to 'do business' was better then morning dry mouth).

great post-I'd have to say, I think we are all like having circadian dilemmas-I see a lot of mentions of insomnia and the like-I really think this is due to staying up way too late, and you have to ease the brain back into a pattern of early-to-bed syndrome-I am sure this is quite sound logic, I am just not a practicioner of it myself;-D
